Nimapara’s farmers have always been the backbone of the constituency’s economy. Through Utkarsha Nimapara, the goal is to empower every farmer with the tools, technology, and training they need to thrive in modern agriculture.
The program supports farmer collectives, promotes sustainable agricultural practices, and encourages crop diversification. Special attention has been given to irrigation infrastructure, farm mechanization, organic farming, and linking farmers with markets and processing units. Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) are being supported to scale operations and maximize returns.
With the upcoming Farmer Facilitation Centre and regular Krushak Sammelanis, knowledge exchange is now accessible even in the remotest villages. Nimapara’s green fields are now symbols of a brighter, greener tomorrow.
